Woman reading a book on a custom bookshelf bed surrounded by books.

Faelorehn

I decided to build the world I wanted to live in.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I was always saving the beautiful, strange, cozy things for someday. The room filled with books. The slightly wild garden. The projects I wasn’t entirely sure I knew how to build. The kind of home that feels like it might have a story of its own.

Eventually, I got tired of waiting for someday.

So I started making those things instead.

Faelorehn is where I share what happens next — transforming my home one room at a time, growing food and flowers, building things with my own two hands, getting completely lost in books, living a truly bookish lifestyle, and finding ways to tuck a little more magic into ordinary life.

There is a bookshelf bed with a secret reading nook. A sitting room slowly becoming worthy of a witch. A moon garden growing outside. There are half-finished projects, dirt under my fingernails, paint colors I will absolutely overthink, and usually another idea waiting before I’ve finished the last one.

I’m not trying to create a perfect life.

I’m building one that feels like mine.

And if you’ve ever wanted your real life to feel a little more like the worlds you disappear into, you’re welcome here.

It is very much a work in progress.
